Dr. Desiree English, DVM:
Dr. Desiree English was born and raised right here in the Northeast Denver neighborhood of Montbello. Passionate about animals from a young age, she attended CU Boulder for her undergraduate studies, and spent several years as a zookeeper at the Denver Zoo. She attended veterinary school at Colorado State University, graduating in 2004. Following graduation she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she practiced for several years but never stopped missing the Mile High City. In 2011 she and her family moved back to Colorado and she spent the next few years honing her skills as an ER and critical care veterinarian. In 2015 a lifelong dream of opening a veterinary hospital in the Northeast Denver community came true with the establishment of Tower Road Animal Hospital.
Dr. English works with dogs, cats and some companion exotics (ferrets, rabbits, rodents, etc.) Her special interests are internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and dentistry. She is blessed to share her life with her husband, three young sons, two cats, and one dog. When she is not working, her favorite activities are being a mom, traveling, crafting and sewing, and reading.
